I installed an Insinkerator disposal today. When I went to pop out the plug where the dishwasher is connected. I saw this.
Its a plug that is easily removed with the disposal tool that comes with the unity. This is brilliant.
No knocking the plug out with a screw driver then shaking the disposal upside down to get the plug out of the unit.
